Months of being held captive by the weather, it’s a dark death trap outdoors and an unnerving hostage situation inside; you’d love to hibernate, but alas – capitalism (and your thankless duty to the monstera that emanates plant scurvy and ennui). And then suddenly there’s light! The sound of snow thawing. Patches of weary grass. And amongst all this, tiny pinpricks of Utter Green. And nobody to begrudge you swooshing in and picking a snow drop or two, just as a reminder to keep going. Because it won’t be long now. This vase is for those small beacons of hope.
